Answers at the speed of chat.
AbsolutChat is an AI assistant for your website and WhatsApp. It answers customers' everyday questions in plain language, tells them it is an AI, and says so when it is not sure.
- Always says it is an AI
- Plain-text replies only
- No cookies, no analytics
Are you open on Sundays?
Yes, 9:00 to 15:00. Would you like me to pass a table request to the team?
Table for 4 around 10, please
What it is
Your front desk, on chat.
AbsolutChat is an AI chat assistant that you can put on your website and on WhatsApp. It takes the repeat questions so your team can spend its time on the conversations that need a person.
-
Answers the repeat questions
Opening hours, how things work, what you offer. Plain language, any hour, from the facts you give it.
-
Admits what it does not know
If the answer is not in its brief, it says so instead of guessing, and it never invents prices or promises.
-
Points to a person
For anything it cannot or should not decide, it suggests getting in touch with your team.
Live demo
Try the assistant
Ask it about AbsolutChat, WhatsApp or how your data is handled. If the live demo is offline, a clearly labelled sample conversation is shown instead.

Ask about the product
The assistant is not connected right now, so messages cannot be sent. Below is a sample conversation, not a live one.
Sample conversation
Visitor said: What can AbsolutChat do?
Assistant said: I answer customers' everyday questions on a website or on WhatsApp, in plain language. I always say I'm an AI.
Visitor said: What happens when it does not know something?
Assistant said: I say so instead of guessing, and I suggest getting in touch with a person on the team.
Assistant said: Hi, I'm the AbsolutChat demo assistant. I'm an AI, not a person, so I can get things wrong. Ask me about the product, or pick a question below.
Try asking
You are talking to an AI assistant, not a human. Replies can be wrong and are shown as plain text. Please don't share sensitive information. How the demo handles data.
Demo limits: 1000 characters per message, at most about 20 messages every 10 minutes per visitor. The assistant is an AI and can be wrong.
- Today
-
Customer: Hi! Are you open tomorrow?
-
Assistant: Hello! I'm the Harbor & Pine assistant, an AI. Tomorrow we're open 8:00 to 16:00.
-
Customer: Can I book a table for 4 around 12?
-
Assistant: I can't confirm bookings myself. Send your name and time and I'll pass it to the team.
-
Customer: Any vegan options?
-
Assistant: Yes, vegan dishes are marked on the menu. For today's specials, please ask the team.
Channels
Meet customers where they already chat.
The same assistant, two front doors. Customers get the same careful answers whether they find you on your website or message you on WhatsApp.
-
Website chat
A chat widget on your site, like the demo above: streamed replies, a visible AI label, plain text only.
-
WhatsApp
Replies to text messages through Meta's WhatsApp Business platform, with a short memory so follow-up questions make sense. Meta's own rules apply, including its 24-hour customer-service window.
WhatsApp is a trademark of Meta. AbsolutChat is not affiliated with or endorsed by WhatsApp or Meta.
How it works
Three steps, no maze.
AbsolutChat is not self-serve yet. Setup starts with a conversation, because the best assistant starts with an honest brief.
- 01
Share your questions
Get in touch and describe your business and the questions your team answers over and over.
- 02
The assistant gets a brief
It works from a short, factual brief about your business, plus firm rules: do not guess, do not invent, always say it is an AI.
- 03
Switch on the channels
Website chat, WhatsApp, or both. Anything it cannot settle goes back to your team.
Capabilities and safety
Useful, and honest about its limits.
What the assistant is built to do, and what it is built not to.
-
Conservative by default
It answers from its brief, says "I'm not sure" when it cannot, and declines unrelated or harmful requests instead of improvising.
-
Always says it is an AI
It never pretends to be a person. In the demo, the label stays on screen the whole time.
-
Human hand-off
For prices, bookings and anything it cannot settle, it points people to a person.
-
Plain text only
Replies are shown as text, never as HTML, so a reply cannot inject markup into your page.
-
Privacy first
No cookies, no analytics, no ad trackers. The website demo does not store conversations on our servers.
-
Rate limited
A per-visitor limit keeps abuse and cost in check. It is approximate by design, since it runs on an eventually consistent store.
-
Streams as it writes
Replies appear as the model produces them, and a Stop button ends a reply early.
Is this a person or an AI?
An AI. AbsolutChat is a language-model assistant, powered by Qwen, and it says so. It is built never to pretend to be human, and it can get things wrong.
What happens when it does not know the answer?
It is instructed to say it is not sure instead of guessing, and to point people to a human contact for anything it cannot or should not decide, such as prices, bookings or contracts.
Does the demo store my conversation?
No. The website demo does not store what you type on our servers. Each message is sent to the model server that runs the assistant to produce a reply, and your chat history lives only in this browser tab. A short-lived counter tied to a hash of your IP address limits how fast messages can be sent. The privacy page has the exact details.
How does the WhatsApp side work?
It uses Meta's WhatsApp Business platform. The assistant replies to text messages and keeps a short memory of the conversation so follow-up questions make sense. WhatsApp itself is run by Meta under its own terms.
Can I add it to my own website today?
There is no self-serve embed snippet or sign-up yet. The chat above shows what the website widget is like; get in touch and we will talk through how it would fit your site.
What does it cost?
We have not published pricing. Get in touch and we will tell you.
Will it replace my team?
No, and it is not built to. It handles the repeat questions and hands the rest back to people.
